happy Easter!

I can't decide which picture I like best... so here are all four of the pics I took today for Easter. Happy Easter! Love, us Clarkes.

bowlin'

We had fun bowling on Sunday (yes, I'm getting to the point where I take my camera everywhere). We all had our own unique style. Here's Raylee doing her signature "plumber's crack" bowl. She did great and was tied with me in last place for the majority of the game.
Here's some live action footage of Raylee:

Shelby's winning score was twice what the rest of us got. Although her bowling style reminded us of Billy Elliot, she whooped us all... drastically.

See her smile? That's a winner's smile.

My smile is an "I'm losing but that's A-okay with me!" smile:

And Damian, well, he isn't really smiling... but he was definitely into the game. That's his game face:

And here's his game:

Maddie had fun running around the whole place like a maniac. I pretended that I had no idea who her parents were...

And Noel was cheering us on from the sidelines:

So that's pretty much the gist of it. We had fun and I took lots of pictures. :) Shelby won, I took second (believe it or not), and Dame and Ray shared the bronze.

Easter baskets

Maddie received her Easter basket from Nana last Friday and has been on a sugar high ever since! Shel & Ray were excited to get theirs also. So excited, in fact, that I didn't get any pics of them since they got into them so fast. Thanks Nana! :)

it's potty training time

Maddie's arch nemesis:

So far so good. Although there are a lot of tears involved, she's starting to get the hang of it (Maddie is catching on also). ;)

the bee whisperer

Damian's favorite animal is a bee. Yes, a bee. So imagine his delight when one flew in the car and he had to catch and release it. He always does that and never gets stung... so I think bees like him too. Here are a couple pics of him and his fuzzy little friend:

yes, mommy slept all morning

this morning i woke up at quarter to ten. now, maddie and noel usually wake me up by seven but today they slept in. well, let me clarify --noel slept in.
when i went to mad's room to wake her up i noticed that her light was already on and i could hear her talking. i opened the door and found her with her pajamas half off and her diaper mostly removed... i'll spare you the details, but yes, she was playing with her poop. it's been a long time since she did this; i really thought she was past this phase. anyway, i put her in the tub, cleaned up the room and then came back into the bathroom to wash my hands and i hear her say to me in a sweet little voice, "did mommy sleep all morning?" and then when i looked at her she tilted her head to the side, gave me that look again and repeated, " did mommy sleep all morning?" i don't know, i guess you had to hear her say it but it cracked me up (of course i couldn't show her my amusement since she was in trouble...). anyway, that's how this day started. just thought i'd share. :)

who should work for the milk company?

Damian is considering switching jobs and working for a local milk company. When he saw his uniform, it made his decision that much harder --it's so milky chic! What do you think?? Should he continue at the job he has now:
OR... should he work for the milk company?
Shelby is obviously too cool for the milk industry:
Raylee already has a life dream of working at a grocery store check out line, so she's declined the uniform (too bad, Ray, it looks good on you!):
Noel was shocked to be offered this job at such a young age:
Samson is all for it, except he'd need a bigger, total body hair net:
And Maddie wanted nothing to do with the ensemble --she ran away from the uniform screaming.
I tried it on but it looked way too awful on me (I deleted the pic immediately) so I'm out of the question. Damian has the beginning of next week to decide what he'll do so I'll keep you posted!
